Biography
Lacey Kay was born in Brantford, ON, Canada. Kay holds an Advanced Diploma in Theatre Performance from Humber Polytechnic and is 1 of 8 recipients awarded of a full scholarship/fellowship with York University granting her a Masters of Arts in Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies as she works towards her PhD. Kay has an extensive background in experimental theatre while her first breakout role on screen was playing the infamous Amanda Knox in Global TV's episode about the real life case. Since, Kay has worked with notable directors such as Alexander Payne and Jason Eisner, acting alongside stars such as Matty Matheson (Born To Lose, 2025) and Matt Damon (Downsizing, 2017). Kay is best known for her numerous leading roles in Canadian Academy nominated and award winning series, Dark Side of The Ring (S4/5/6) as well as her role as the court stenographer in The Greatest (2025-2026), a new series about the life of Muhammad Ali produced by Ali's estate. Lacey Kay resides in Toronto, Canada.
